The Mystery Ghost
One day I got a call from Charlie and John. They excitedly said that they were going to a luxury hotel with everything you possibly need. I decided to go with them so I packed and left the house. I got my car and drove all the way to my friends house and then we drove to the hotel - it was a very long drive. When we arrived the hotel workers explained that the last room was just taken by somebody else. We asked if there were any other hotels nearby and he said there's one further down the street. We quietly sneaked in the hotel as we were a bit ashamed we hadnt pre booked the first one, and registered 3 rooms. We unpacked and rested in our beds. It was an old hotel with dirty everything. It was a dirty hotel with lots of moth eaten holes and more of everything that told us it was an old, dirty hotel. .
The next morning we walked down to have breakfast. We were me, my friend John and my friend Charlie. The three of us did verything together. That morning was when we first heard a voice whisper something. We looked around to check if anyone was there. There wasn't. That was very strange. We went and had toast and were sure the voice whispered again but we couldnt understand what it was actually saying.
After we had breakfast we went back in our rooms to decide on what we would do that day. This hotel was dirty and old and we didnt want to stay in all day like we could have in the other one. While we were thinking, I heard a voice whispering, "I am going to kill you." I quickly told John and Charlie about this and we decided to leave after 5 days as we were always looking for an adventure.
Three days after making this decision, our friend John had gone missing and we were scared to death about this. So scared we both agreed to stick together. That voice had said it would kill us and we were thinking now it was true. Instead of three friends, we were now only two friends.
The next morning we found John in his room with a dagger stuck in his chest and a little note on the dagger saying "Your friend and you are next" By then we were so scared we left that horrible dirty hotel and we phoned the police.
They said they were too busy investigating murders that had been happening all over the city, so it was the next day before a humongous squad of policemen came. They searched the whole hotel because they hadn’t found anything in any other hotel they had investigated so did our hotel much better than any of the others. The police had an argument between themselves about what to do next so some of the police decided to stay over for a few days and see for themsleves if there was a whisper. There was no whisper and so they wondered if we had been imagining the voice.
The next day some great news came in. The police had captured the person who had been hiding in toilets and whispering through the drain pipes. It was the murderer who had been killing lots of people in the city.
Me and Charlie went to John’s funeral and we said all our goodbyes. We were very sad about John dying but we left for home anyway. We were surprisingly rewarded by the Police with $25 000 each! Wow that's a lot of money for some University aged kids just on an adventure! Thankfully we didn’t all die! John missed out on the money but we spent our having fun and more adventures anyway.

The Mysterious Whisper
I was watching youtube upstairs in my room in my house. The lights were turned off downstairs and upstairs was only lit by one small light in the hallway. I was thirsty so I decided to have a drink downstairs. But when I was walking across the landing to the stairs, I heard a weird whisper in my ear. I wasnt even sure if it was a voice or maybe the wind through an open window. The voice sounded like a very scary anime character. The sound was really quiet and I felt a cold breeze going right thru my skin and making the hairs on my arms stand straight up - I froze and didn't move a single step.
I ;istened, shaking all the time. After 3 minutes I carefully started moving again. I looked back into my room at the tv and I saw something weird. The TV seemed to have 2 red eyes glaring from the bright screen. There was some sort of creature wearing a long black robe of some kind of shimmery and shiny material. It looked like it was hanging off a skeleton and was carrying a big, long scythe in one bony hand.
It was a most extraordinary sight but I was shivering so much, it was hard to focus on the image for too long. I don't know why I was shivering, i just couldnt help it, and I felt like I was getting possessed or something strange. I suddenly felt brave and charged towards the TV because I didn't want anything to get worse. The creature that was in the TV disappeared in thin air.
I fumbled for my phone and called 111 just in case they can help and while waiting I tried to search on google to see what it was but my phone didn't turn on I didn't know why something like this never happened before. It was getting even more scary by the minute.
I waited for what seemed like a long time and as I waited, I tried to remember what the whisper said. But while I was trying to remember and concentrating hard, I heard a whisper in my ear again, “I am coming for your soul”. The voice was so soft and queit but just the way it sounded I started to freak out.
I got my phone out again to see if it worked - thank fully it worked this time and I told the police to come quickly as i was being attacked by a creature jumping out of a TV. I dont think they believed me. When I finished trying to explain to the Police my problem, I saw the creature again it whispered yet again to me “I will take your soul”.
I suddenly thought I had heard those words from somewhere before and I remembered what the creature was - it was the Grim Reaper. I remembered from a story my mum had read to me when I was young,that the Grim Reaper was scared of the light. So I quickly turned the light on to max and then the Grim Reaper started to scream.
“ AHHH I will get you someday little man” and then the Grim Reaper faded away from the TV. The police came soon after and I told them what happened. At first I didn't know if they believed me but I must have been convincing because they did believe me surprisingly and said it must have been a very scary thing to happen. I thanked them for believing me and they left me with some guards just in case the Grim Reaper came again.
I have never seen this Grim Reaper again and I have tried to live a life of ease ever since.
